Type One sets the stage for Doide’s new musical project with its melancholic yet positive and energetic melody. This project has been crafted between Stuttgart and Barcelona by one of the most legendary minds in the international electronic music scene. That’s right—Russ Gabriel of Ferox fame has teamed up with Tony Blunt to reinvent the landscape of electronic dance music with their take on Future Techno.
Following the distinctive vibe of No Tune, which is bound to carve out its own niche, the track centers the groove’s energy around a myriad of analog sounds looping through a meticulously crafted seven minutes. On the B-side of the 12″ vinyl release, you’ll find the track that wraps up this project. For the digital release, we’ve included Calida Desdicha, a track infused with Latin subtleties and stabs that lend it a distinct Detroit flavor.
