RELAY

Description

Nachtwaker makes his Enemy debut with "Relay," an EP chock full of purist, driving Techno tunes. From the tripped out "Projection" to the groove-focused "Creep," each track is as infectious as it is powerful. As a whole, it has the trademark hypnotism that one has grown to expect from Dustin Zahn's label. "Projection" kicks off the EP with an emphasis on bleepy sci-fi overtones, making it a great tool for DJs into the great space race. "Carbon" hammers away on the low end while the push and pull of the polyrhythmic percussion controls the tension. "Creep" veers off into groovier territory, with heavy emphasis on swing and syncopation in the rhythm section. "Experi" exerts an introspective moodiness perfect for locked-in dancers during the late night hours.
