Description
The Winstons' 1969 soul recording "Amen, Brother", originally released as the B-side of "Color Him Father", became one of the most sampled tracks in hip-hop, jungle and drum & bass history, with thousands of documented uses across genres. Recorded in Atlanta by the racially mixed group The Winstons, the release pairs the iconic drum break with the group's soulful, Curtis Mayfield-influenced "Color Him Father" and is available in a special coloured vinyl edition.
