I'm Failing To Lie

Description

Dino Lenny returns to Crosstown Rebels with ‘I’m Failing To Lie’ Long-standing Crosstown Rebels affiliate Dino Lenny presents ‘I’m Failing To Lie’, his fourth project on the label consisting of a remix from fellow Italian producer Sideral. For over three decades, Lenny’s versatility has shaped a career working with some of music’s biggest names, from Missy Elliot and Madonna to a long list of globally revered labels including releases on Rekids, R&S, and his own Fine Human imprint in 2026 alone. Now, he continues his relationship with Lazarus’ imprint, dating back seven years, with a cohesive yet diverse project that dives into both his artistic individuality and sounds spanning different corners of the dancefloor. ‘I’m Failing To Lie’ lays his original vocals atop dramatic strings, a locked bassline and raw, dusty drums, making for a main room hypnotiser with Sideral, a mainstay on Mind Against’s HABITAT imprint, reworking these elements into a spacious cut built for the open air, before Lenny closes out with ‘Back 2 Back Aff air’, transporting us to a hazed-out, underground club, with machine-funk grooves joining hands with playful, musical sensibilities. It's an EP that celebrates Lenny’s artistry, shaped by honest storytelling and a long-running bond with one of electronic music's most esteemed record labels.
