A VIEW FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE EP

Description

FERMAV006 is up next, featuring a five-tracker EP from Berlin-based Randstad, with remix duties from Manglés, a longstanding figure in the Spanish underground electronic scene. Across five tracks, Randstad delivers a well-rounded body of work built around intricate breakbeat arrangements, unconventional rhythmic structures and carefully sculpted electronic textures. Moving between raw, driving rhythms and more detailed atmospheric passages, the EP strikes a balance between dancefloor functionality and depth in production. Drawing on his experience across labels such as VEYL, Pinkman and Soil, Randstad brings a distinctive perspective to the record, with each track contributing to a cohesive yet varied listening experience. Manglés steps in to rework ‘Schönlein Str.’, taking the original into his own territory through a fresh interpretation of its rhythmic foundations, informed by his long standing engagement with broken beats and techno sound.
