Various – Circa Groove Vol 1 LP

Description

Circa Grooves steps back into the physical world with its first VA vinyl outing - a four-track various artists 12" that sets the tone for what the label is about: depth, restraint, and music that earns repeated listens. Side A opens with No Brainers' Low Tide, a deep, chugging roller that locks in a dance floor. The kind of track that resets the room. It's followed by Rossiter's Electric, which raises the energy without losing the mood, a shuffely hypnotic groove that has been tried and tested on dance floors across Europe. Flip the record and 10AM delivers Children Of God, a weightier, more emotive cut - melodic and searching, pulling at something harder to name. Closing the release is label head Rupert Ellis with his Like It's The Last Time, a fittingly elegant final statement: warm, considered, and lingering long after the needle lifts Four artists. Four distinct voices. One cohesive statement.
