The Gnome One LP

Description

Cantrips is the musical project of Melbourne/Naarm artist, DJ and Dune Castle Records founder Patrick Ryan. Working from his Dune Castle studio, Ryan creates instrumental music drawing on soul, library music, folk and film soundtracks. The Gnome One is a ten-track instrumental album recorded live with members of Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo and Temporary Blessings. Drawing on cinematic soul, library music and 1970s-inspired composition, each track soundtracks a location within an original gnomish heist through Dune Castle. The album is accompanied by a playable Collaborative Storytelling Adventure, with artwork hand-painted by Tom Ferson across a single 1 x 2 metre canvas.
