1980 EP

Description

Sometimes you don’t need many words, just a piano hook that hits the mark. That is exactly what this record delivers. On the A-side, Stefan Zovsky kicks things into high gear immediately with his remix of "Piano Track." It features a tight groove structure, punchy drums, and a piano riff that relentlessly embeds itself in your mind. This isnt a track for the background; it’s a peak-time weapon guaranteed to set the dancefloor on fire, a true floor-filler with serious forward momentum. The B-side reveals a different facet of Zcelly Forever. With the original version of "Piano Track," along with "We Are Young" and "1980," the artist's musical roots become clear. The 80s influence is unmistakable, warm synth pads, catchy melodies, and that distinctive nostalgic vibe. Yet, the music steers clear of being a mere retro imitation. Instead, classic influences blend with a contemporary house sound to create tracks that work just as well in the club as they do for home listening. A record with two faces: the front side is uncompromisingly built for the dancefloor, while the back side offers heart, atmosphere, and a love letter to the 80s. This is exactly the kind of underground house we love, honest, functional, and full of character.
