Description
TB is a new imprint born from the collaboration between Teo, the hyperprolific label manager behind Partout Records, and Brice Coudert, programmer of Paris’ new club institution essaim, former artistic director of the legendary club Concrete, and founder of the labels Concrete Music and lavibe. Unconcerned with trends, genres or rigid musical categories, Teo and Brice see TB as a home for distinctive, soulful club music designed to stand the test of time. Dallas-born producer Decoder, whose futuristic and soulful approach to techno has quickly earned support from artists such as Jeff Mills, on whose label Axis he released his first album at only 17 years old, sets the tone for what the label is destined to become. At the crossroads of genres and stylistically distinct from Decoder’s previous output, Ivory EP remains rooted in the young producer’s ability to infuse his music with soul and melody, delivering four tracks that feel like timeless classics from the very first listen.
