Groovy After All EP

Description

Italian producer Frank Virgilio has been rolling out house and disco infused with seriously smoky soul for many years. His new EP on Wax Digits Music continues that tradition, firstly with 'Pretty Face', a languid and lounge mid-tempo sound with hushed chords and pensive keys. 'Doughnite' makes room for a funky bassline under a loveably ramshackle slow-motion disco chug and 'High Fly' then ascends to a jazzier, more sophisticated plane but keeps the drums deep. 'Floating Alone' is a more earthy and Afro closer with frayed chords and sampled soul to keep you warm through the winter months.
