Off Grid

Description

Deep house lovers will always have their head turned by a new slab from US maestro DJ Aakmael. His trademark sampling is back to woo and charm across three more whimsical tunes that will appeal to lovers of early Smallville releases. 'Off Grid' is light, airy and uplifting in a quiet and introspective manner, then 'Untitled 26' stretches its legs a bit with a more roomy and expansive deep house jaunt through cosmic chord work and classic FM baselines. 'Long Stories' then smudges and smears synths over a loose percussive jumble. It's lush house music with aching heart and soul as ever from Aakmael.
