Silence, Please

Description

On their fifth album, Silence, Please, The Dead South cast tales of pitfalls and windfalls, heroes and villains, choices and consequences. Darker, harder, louder and moodier, the new songs see complex characters reckoning with judgement and its arbiters. Through it all, The Dead South's sense of adventure and stylistic individuality is felt at every turn. From doom metal banjo to saintly choirs, high lonesome harmonies, prog punk and gleeful sing-alongs, Silence, Please is an album that deserves your listen.
