Stuttered Blinking (TAPE)

Description

Who is Jerry Blue? An elusive underground lifer, long-term collaborator (including Mark Gergis's Porest), and veteran of the East Bay scene who has spent decades quietly stockpiling home-studio recordings between life, art, and mild underworld legend. Following the archival distillation of Fluttered Thinking, Stuttered Blinking picks up the thread with an even more eclectic dispatch of guitars, electronics, and erratic percussion. Blending frayed blues singing reminiscent of Dr. John and heavy drone with jagged rock fragments and cavernous moods, it is a gloriously fragmented collection born from an endless stream of thought—rescued from the ether and safely housed on a Sucata Tapes cassette.
