KLOCKWORKS 42

Description

Since his debut on the label on 2023, Alarico has continued to evolve his sound through releases on labels such as Key Vinyl and Mutual Rytm establishing himself as one of the most distinctive voices of contemporary techno. ‘KW42’ EP moves between gritty minimalism, slick textures and hypnotic grooves. ‘Whisper’ kicks off the EP with its fast paced rhythmic tension, followed by the stripped-back drive of ‘Ombra’, while on the flip-side ‘Wroclaw’ brings a sharper, more physical edge and closing techno stomper ‘30 Hz’ propels this sonic journey even further with its frenetic driving rhythm. Together, the four tracks capture Alarico pushing his sound into a new territory while retaining the raw energy and meticulous sound design that have become synonymous with his productions.
