Description

Lemma 3 lands with a shade of blue and a breezy collection of percussive dub mutations. It opens with a polyrhythmic twist on the classic dub techno blueprint, a time travel tool connecting 136 to 170 BPM before it takes a slightly more jazzy turn with increasingly frantic drum breaks, modal chords and Jaf Ge Nos easing a harmonically tense bassline with guitar overdubs. The flip serves two dubstep compatible cuts that are both bold and full of movement. First Cinna weaves his tombak between rolling bass lines and marching snares before K’boko accentuates a haunting bassline with dubbed out percussion grooves.
