Yielded Ascension (TAPE)

Description

Yielded Ascension, the new full-length from Brassica, resists easy categorisation by design. Each track begins with raw musical building blocks and is allowed to find its own shape and identity. The result is a record that keeps moving forward, through the unexplained. The 14-track album opens in spacious, downtempo territory before moving through Ambient and Synthpop-leaning passages, eventually giving way to a second half driven by Techno, Breakbeat and Electro. Yielded Ascension will be released on cassette as a limited run of 50 copies, housed in a C75 shell with a full-colour J-card and on-body printed artwork. A full digital release will accompany the cassette.
