Description

"From the Tombs" is an ambitious double album that brings together leading musicians including Bernard Butler, Luke Haines, Sean O'Hagan, Lavinia Blackwall and Adrian Crowley to reinterpret true stories drawn from nineteenth-century Ireland and the Irish diaspora. Blending folk, pop, spoken word, cinematic instrumentals and traditional Irish influences, the album explores extraordinary tales of crime, justice and everyday life, creating a compelling musical journey from Ireland to Britain, North America, Australia and beyond.
