Rapping With The Gods Volume 2

Description

Casquiat is a San Francisco ex-DJ turned remix adventurer, raised on the blend tapes of Ron G, Dirty Harry and Juice, and he has worked with the likes of Drumetrics, High & Mighty, Cutty Ranks and Lonely Island. Rapping With the Gods Vol. 2 is his answer to the mixtapes of the 90s and early 00s - a 30-minute compositional mix pressed on a 12" with brand-new remixes, a freestyle from Volume 10 and beat collages. It is packed with plenty of what he calls "bug-out goodness" and is rough and ready, raw and off-the-cuff. A living document and rich sonic puzzle aimed squarely at fans of good old tape-era spirit.
