Surveiller 觀自在

Description

Sichuan-born, Berlin-based artist Temple Rat presents her latest EP, Surveiller 觀自在. Across four acid-tinged, cosmic techno tracks, she explores the intersection of Chinese philosophy and contemporary mass surveillance, asking whether the ever-present external gaze has eclipsed our capacity for inner reflection. Perhaps freedom lies not in escaping the gaze of others, but in learning to recognise our own hearts within it.
