Le Casse LP

Description

Transversales Disques presents the first-ever LP reissue of Ennio Morricone’s iconic score to Le Casse (The Burglars), Henri Verneuil’s 1971 Franco-Italian heist classic starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Omar Sharif. Conducted by Morricone’s longtime collaborator Bruno Nicolai, this legendary soundtrack is a masterpiece of 70s European crime cinema, seamlessly blending high-action grooves, chic lounge jazz, lush Italian romanticism, and the delicate vocalizations of Edda Dell'Orso. Featuring one of the maestro’s most celebrated main themes, this ultimate edition also includes two rare 7-inch tracks recorded by Astrud Gilberto with Morricone and his orchestra.
