For the last decade and change, Lazarusman has steadily worked his way towards becoming a seminal voice in electronic music. His debut album, Skin, is an exploration of identity. Lazarusman questions his place in the world, reflecting on growing up in a now-free South Africa. The album touches on colourism, racism, faith, love and the existential crisis of existing in a divided world. The album is also a celebration of the many genres that inspire his poetry from deep, tech and Afro house to breakbeats and jazz.
