Composed during the same sessions that gave life to The Tape Reset Vol. 1 in 2021, Woxow’s The Tape Reset Vol. 2 emerges only now, five years later. A second chapter that remained quietly on the shelf, completing the sonic path opened by the first volume and revealing another side of the same creative moment. The EP is largely built around organic samples, arranged with a restrained and precise approach. Subtle instrumental appearances shape the atmosphere along the way. A vibraphone introduces the opening moments, setting a cinematic tone that gradually unfolds through layered textures and steady beats, while the record closes with a clarinet solo, a final gesture that echoes the instrumental heard in the intro of the first volume, subtly bringing the journey full circle.
