Rakete returns with its fourth release from Minneapolis-based producer and DJ, Baher. The Cairo-raised artist has spent years carving out club-focused hardware-driven sounds that drift between different shades of techno, house, and the spaces in between, drawing inspiration from old school rhythms, underground culture and distant memories. The artist’s debut EP on Rakete, Fragments, is a reflection of those moments. From the desert winds of Cairo to the intimate warehouse raves of Minneapolis, each track from the founder of Rakete carries an emotional imprint and raw energy onto the dancefloor, shaped by the artist’s diverse and wide-reaching influences that feel distant yet familiar.
