Description
following the success of his previous release matter, swedish newcomer martinou returns with his second single on mule musiq. expanding on the sound of his last record, martinou delivers a more refined and expansive take on dreamy deep house. the lead track, a1 “through you,” is a driving, balearic-tinged piece of dreamy deep house, highlighted by the synth work that can truly be called one of his signature strengths. a2 “unfold” and b2 “continuum” are melodic breakbeat cuts that update the spirit of 90s ambient techno for the present day. on b1 “multitudes,” martinou moves into after-hours house territory, deeper and more introspective, yet still carrying a strong sense of openness. a dreamlike four-track release that marks the full bloom of martinou’s talent. don’t miss it!
